Academic All State Honors from the MHSBCA

Sam Grace, Caleb Houchin, & Joe Roder received academic all state honors from the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association. The varsity had a team GPA of 3.31, which ranked 13th in Class 5.

Brian Kindt Signs with Illinois College

Brian, son of Craig & Susan, will be playing baseball at Illinois College.

Congratulations to Keith Grieshaber who was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 16th round (486th pick) of the 2016 MLB Draft!  Keith is a 2014 grad who played for Jefferson College this past spring and has signed with Missouri State.  Keith is the son of Dan & Cindy.  Keith is the seventh Marquette baseball player to be given the opportunity to play professional baseball.  Keith was playing in the AZ Rookie League and has already been promoted to the Orem Owls.  For more info on drafted Mustangs, please see the Drafted page. Keith finished his first pro season with the Orem Owls who won the Pioneer League title.

Dylan Dix played in the 2016 Delta Dental All Star Game at Busch Stadium on June 6th.  Will Bausinger & Kellan Murray played in the 2016 MHSBCA SR All Star Game at Lindenwood on June 11th.  Will Bausinger was credited with the win as the East All Stars won 6-0.  The East pitchers allowed one hit in nine innings.
